Rated 1 out of 5 by from After 7mths this appliance began heating!! bought this in march this year it was working well good space and storage. Was happy until thursday night, the unit started heating tge fridge & freezer! We swithched it off fir 69secs then on again fridge started cooling freezer kept heating started at 8° by Friday morning freezer was 11° contacted appliances online who raised an urgent,service request with haier we were expecting a call back that day. Nothing! As at 11pm friday freezer was 13° fridge at 4°. At 6.00 am both fridge and freezer were at 18°! Not happy. Dont recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Water dispenser inadequate Purchased this fridge in Feb 2024. The fridge and functionality is everything I could have wanted from a 4 door fridge. The let down has been the water dispenser. From day 1 the water flow is weak and some days only comes out in drips. No troubleshooting in the guide.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice fridge, flawed design Bought this fridge in 2022. Looks fine, fits our space well, cools and freezes as expected. Would be happy with it but for one significant issue. Whilst we had couple of minor fails with a split door seal and door drawer lid breaking these were not huge problems. The main issue is the wiring for the control panel. The panel itself is a good feature, but the wiring runs through the top right hand door hinge and fails (ie the wires break) after time as you open and close the door. In our case these wires gave out 15 months after initial purchase and then again another 18 months later. Whilst the first repair was covered under warranty and the second under ‘goodwill’ out of warranty (after protest) it seems this fridge will require repair every 18 months or so at my expense if I want to be able to adjust or monitor the temperature. If I’d known this prior to buying I wouldn’t have bought it. All in all a nice looking fridge with a remarkably poor design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor manufacturing. Worst purchase in my life. Fridge was delivered with dented doors (top 2 doors). After replacing the doors under warranty it was discovered these doors were also dented. Third attempt…. New doors also came dented. The vegetable crisper draw does not open/close correctly and gets stuck. Appalling! I certainly would not recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not get cold; food wasted I bought this in May 2023. 2 Technician visits and it is being returned this month. It was never fit for purpose as it could not keep food cold enough. I have exactly the same issue as the reviewer named "Zool". I had seen a similar review prior to my purchase (though cannot find it). I think this issue is common enough, though perhaps the other reviews (most as part of a "promotion") have not noticed it. Set at the coldest possible (1 degree): - the top shelf is usually at 11 or 12, occasionally 10 at the back - the bottom shelf is generally 6 or 7 - there is only one spot I was able to get something down to 1 degree on occasion (bottom right at the very back, blocking the cold air vent); - the bottom door shelf (only spot to store milk cartons) never gets below 6 (usually 7 or 8), despite many milk bottles/cartons saying store below 4 degrees. As a result, we have wasted A LOT of food - probably several hundred dollars worth of wastage. The 4.5 star supposed energy rating means absolutely nothing (in respect of cost or the environment) when you waste so much food. Even salami goes off quickly, as does cheese (just threw another lot of each away 10 minutes ago). We cannot store anything perishable on the top shelf, and most things on the middle shelf go off quickly. Our old fridge (a 20 year old second hand Westinghouse) kept everything cold on a medium setting. This fridge was a massive downgrade because there is virtually no useable cold storage in the fridge, and we have been getting by with only a couple of spots (bottom at the back) to store perishables. Haier have agreed to refund. They have offered no compensation for all the wasted food, yet. My wife appreciated the cold water dispenser and the looks; but not worth the risk.

Best part is the freezer space that can convert to fridge when you need extra fridge like at Xmas time. Fridge temp is lovely and cool and the layout is great can fit loads in. Would highly recommend.
