Participation in this Instagram promotion communicated via our post on the Haier Australia Instagram page or the page of any partner of Haier Australia (Competition Post) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Participation in this promotion is only open to Australian residents 18 years and over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers, partners and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to claim. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister or 1st cousin.
The competition commences once the Competition has been posted on Instagram on Monday 1 November 2021 and closes 11.59pm (AEST) Sunday 7th November 2021 (Competition Period).
Entries must be received within the Competition Period. Entries received outside this period will be ineligible.
To enter the Competition and be eligible to go into the draw to win, you must, during the Competition Period, follow the instructions set out in the Competition Post. You are not permitted to use any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows you to automatically enter or enter repeatedly and you are responsible for any associated costs such as internet access.
All valid entries received within the Competition Period will go in the draw to win the prize.
The winner will be the first valid entry drawn at random. The prize draw will take place on Monday 8 November 2021 at Auckland, New Zealand.
Winners will be announced on the Haier Australia Instagram page. The Promoter may also send a private message to the winner’s Instagram account from the personal account of the Haier Australia Instagram community manager. Following the Instagram announcement, winners will need to send an Instagram private message to the Haier Australia Instagram page with the winner’s full contact details. This will enable the Promoter to supply their prize and will be deemed to be acceptance of the Prize. If the winner does not accept the prize within seven (7) days of being notified, the prize will be forfeited. The Promoter reserves the right to award any forfeited prize to another eligible entrant and to modify the prize.
If, despite reasonable efforts, the winner cannot be contacted within seven (7) days the Promoter reserves the right to reallocate the prize to the next valid entry drawn at random.
The prize includes a Haier Heat Pump Dryer 9kg, Refresh with Steam - AU$1299RRP, Haier Front Loader Washing Machine 9kg UV Protect - AU$899RRP and Haier's favourite Bunny – AU$39.95RRP with a total of AU$2,237.99RRP.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any costs not specifically included in the prize. For example, installation of the appliances, removal of any old appliances, or anything associated with running or maintaining the appliances, or any other additional charges, are the responsibility of the winner.
The Promoter (or its associated or affiliated companies or third parties who have licensed its brands to the Promoter or contributed to the application) (Content Owner) own or license from third parties all application content. All application content remains the sole property of the applicable Content Owner and is protected under all relevant copyright, trade mark and other applicable laws. Nothing on the application should be construed as granting any license or rights to use or distribute any application content, without the Promoter’s express written agreement or of the other applicable Content Owner.

Winners take the prize at entirely their own risk and indemnify the Promoter and any retailers and suppliers associated with this promotion in respect of any claim for accident, injury, property damage or loss they may incur in connection with the prize.
The Promoter will not be liable for any prize that is lost, stolen, misdirected or damaged and will not replace them.
The Promoter reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions without notice, to modify, reschedule, suspend or terminate the promotion in its sole discretion, but subject to applicable law.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any person who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and/or omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter's discretion. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
The Promoter’s decision is final on all matters related to this promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.
Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Competition is not valid in conjunction with any other offer, unless otherwise advised. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, misdirected or illegible entries.

The prize is not transferable, returnable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify any statutory consumer right as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other express or implied warranty under any other Federal or State or Territory law.

By entering the promotion, the winner consents to take part in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this promotion, and for his/her name and image to be used for publicity purposes by the Promoter in printed and/or online formats anywhere in the world without the need for further approval or compensation and for an unlimited period of time.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the claimant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. If for any reason, any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned including, but not limited to, by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to suppliers associated with this promotion and as required, to regulatory authorities, or use such information to contact the entrant in relation to this promotion. The entry is conditional on providing this information. If the entrant marks the applicable box, the Promoter may use the entrant’s personal information for the purposes specified at the time of collection.
