Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average washing machine Depending on the size of your load it can take a very long time to complete the cycle (even on express) for example if you don’t put much in there it gets confused and has to rebalance by adding more water and it can do this multiple times which makes the process even longer. In addition, if you put too much in there it gets confused once again and won’t spin and has to be manually rebalanced (after it’s tried to rebalance itself numerous times) I’ve had to take clothes out and just get it to spin the load and then put the ones I’ve taken out back in there to spin by themselves. At the end of the day, it washes the clothes it can just be very temperamental and takes a long time. I much preferred my old 7kg Fisher and Paykal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks good but gives poor results. I purchased this machine in October 2023. I wish I hadn't. The main problem is that it leaves white streaks on dark clothing (see images). I have no idea why. I've used 3 different types of laundry liquid since purchase. Also I am sorry I got rid of my old machine which had a proper agitator up the middle. This machine just swirls everything in one direction - I'm not convinced it cleans clothes properly. I've also noticed if I try to do a hot wash the machine fills with water from both taps and it is not as hot as I would expect. My old machine would fill exclusively from the hot tap and hot water cleans better! I can't recommend this machine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good washing machine but… Good washing machine. Glad for 6 months now. Very reliable. Only complaint is that it leaves white marks on our black clothes, especially with larger loads. Other reviews say similar things. We’ve tried different detergents but these white streaks are relentless. They come off fast with a damp cloth but still such an inconvenience. Best washing machine we’ve had in regards to reliability and function though.

Considering the machine is 18 months old it is very frustrating and disappointing. Regret not spending a bit more and getting a decent machine

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Haier 8kg Auto washer I purchased our new washing machine because of the extra size of 8kg. It's been great to be able to wash everything in 1 go instead of doing 2 loads a day in our old machine. I've also been able to wash bedding blankets and such which is extremely helpful. The machine is pretty easy to navigate and the auto function is great for saving on water. I've previously used Haier as they are a cheaper alternative to the father brand Fisher and Paykel but made using the same excellence. I've had my new washer for the best part of the year and it's been great for a family. I suggest taking the extended warranty if purchased form the good guys as it adds a few years and the good guys are always happy to help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hailer 8kg washing machine. I am extremely pleased with this machine. Great choice of washing programmes. There was a noticeable improvement in the cleanliness of the washing. The filters are very easy to clean and work wonderfully well as I have a big dog which loses lots of hair. Apart from that I think it is the best machine I have owned.
