Haier 8kg top loading washing machine
I have no complaints about this washing machine. Compared to the previous LG all in one front loader which was a disaster, the Haier is excellent.

Looks good but gives poor results.
I purchased this machine in October 2023. I wish I hadn't. The main problem is that it leaves white streaks on dark clothing (see images). I have no idea why. I've used 3 different types of laundry liquid since purchase. Also I am sorry I got rid of my old machine which had a proper agitator up the middle. This machine just swirls everything in one direction - I'm not convinced it cleans clothes properly. I've also noticed if I try to do a hot wash the machine fills with water from both taps and it is not as hot as I would expect. My old machine would fill exclusively from the hot tap and hot water cleans better! I can't recommend this machine.

LOAD OF RUBBISH
Bought this washer 25.03.22 (not 2 years old yet) as I specifically wanted a non-agitator machine. (had used this type of machine since 2000 and never had any trouble. This machine was to replace a 10kg Fisher Paykel I had used for over 10 years & could not replace with the same type. This Haier machine does not spin enough water out of clothes, stinks (even after drum clean used) and is constantly stopping (unbalancing) & adding water to balance the load! NOT a water saving device as claimed! Yesterday a half hour quick wash took 1 hour due to this fact. I ended up taking a couple of items out of washer & turning water off to spin the load! DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER - IT IS A LOAD OF RUBBISH. I am going back to Fisher Paykel & looking at a front loader! Note: this machine was to service a family of two and has been well looked after - the plastic sheet is still on the lid!

Love it!
This a great machine. I bought it online (click and collect) and when we got it home my adult children commented a few times on how small it looks.
1. It does look small compared to some machines but it manages to fit a good size load, a standard queen blanket will fit.
2. When it is done it beeps a few times and then completely shuts off. No constant beeping until you check on it like other machines.
3. Its quiet.
4. It's great for short people! I can actually reach the bottom of the barrel.

Bought the machine2 weeks ago at a fantastic price in click frenzy. It looks great in my laundry. It’s an attractive machine & seems to work well. Going from a front loader with a 1400 spin to a 750 spin is difficult. I never understand why top loader spin so slow. I wanted an efficient machine after having a front loader & was attracted to the energy & water rating. The lint filters are great as I have 2 dogs. They trap a lot of hair. My only complaint is it leaves cloudy white marks over my dark chinos. It doesn’t seem to matter which wash or rinse option I use. I do use liquid detergent. Putting them back in for another rinse sorts them out but defeats the purpose of getting an efficient machine. It washes as quickly as my front loader did & thankfully doesn’t have the balance issues others have reported.

Initial service was good,as was the price, however it took almost 3 weeks to deliver,then delivery staff turned off my freezer which shared a double power point with the washing machine which I found out about several hours later. Almost a disaster 5
